A cornerstone of YMCA-YWCA Denmark’s global engagement is Solidaritets 10’eren, a collective fundraising initiative where DKK 10 of each member’s annual membership fee is donated to support international YMCA and YWCA partners and projects. Since its launch in 2000, this initiative has been ensuring that Danish members actively contribute to youth empowerment, social justice, and community development worldwide.
The funds raised are directed toward education, leadership programs, and social initiatives in partner countries, helping to create stronger communities and better opportunities for young people. By pooling resources, YMCA-YWCA Denmark fosters global solidarity, ensuring that its impact extends far beyond Denmark’s borders.
